The Engine ORC Consortium 2020 Workshop is a forum for technology sharing (presentation only) and learning about automotive and stationary ORC systems dedicated to waste heat recovery up to 100 kW output power. Building on the success of the previous five international conferences, we are pleased to announce that the call for abstracts is now open until June 15th for
The 6th Engine ORC Consortium Workshop will take place in the Greater Frankfurt area, Germany, on 21-23 September 2020.
We are closely monitoring the international impact of the COVID-19 outbreak on travel, and if necessary the committee will revisit the scheduled date for the conference. This will be reviewed regularly and currently we are planning for a late September conference – but we would encourage you to submit your abstract with an element of flexibility. We understand these are uncertain times, but we feel that it is important to solicit responses at this time ahead of a further review.
A full programmme will be published mid-July, with abstracts due on June 15th and registrations will open at the end of June. We anticipate that a number of delegates will combine their attendance at the EORCC workshop with the IAA Commercial Vehicles event in Hannover, Germany which runs from 24-30 September.
The three-day program will provide a perfect platform to discover unique ORC systems driven by waste heat, share successful practices and experiences, debate new concepts with a view to increasing the level of our collaboration and collective impact. Key themes for discussion will include the 2025 Automotive Regulatory Environment in EU, system topography & circuit architecture, expander approaches that yield high thermodynamic efficiencies, ORC fluid selection considerations, advanced control of ORC systems and ORC system test standardization.
We look forward to welcoming you to Frankfurt!
